Hi, welcome to my blog!
My name is Rahmat Hidayat, a working adult and part-time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). I created this blog as a space to share my learning journey, reflections, and insights from balancing full-time work with university studies.
I currently work in the healthcare industry as a Pricing Analyst, where I deal with pricing strategies, competitor analysis, feasibility studies, and system-based pricing administration. Before this role, I gained hands-on experience in business office operations, customer service, administration, and team supervision, starting from front-line roles and gradually moving into more strategic responsibilities.
Going back to university while working has given me a new perspective on learning. Concepts like management, pricing strategy, leadership, and organizational behavior are no longer just theories from textbooks, they connect directly to my daily work experience. What I learn in lectures helps me understand my job better, and what I experience at work makes academic discussions more meaningful.
Through this blog, I aim to:
- Reflect on what I learn as a part-time student
- Connect academic theories with real workplace situations
- Share insights from working in a structured, high-pressure environment
- Track my personal and professional growth over time
This blog isn’t about being perfect. It’s about learning consistently, improving step by step, and proving that education doesn’t stop just because you’re already working.
If you’re a working adult thinking about furthering your studies, this blog is for you too. Let’s grow together 🚀
